You are a hands-on accounting manager who can execute on all day-today functions including experience in AR, AP, payroll, month end close, cost accounting, annual budgeting and financial reporting. You are detail-oriented and organization is your middle name. You are not easily distracted or overwhelmed, and can deal with multiple requests from all parts of the business. Most importantly, you take things in stride. You are excited to work in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You excel when dealing with technology, demonstrate clear aptitude, and are comfortable on both a Mac and PC. If you have experience with Expensify, grant reporting, and contract reporting (for-profit and ngo accounting), it’s a plus.
While you may have a disciplined attitude when it comes to finances, you are also easy-going and flexible when it comes to relationships. As you manage your bookkeeper located in Portland, remotely, you are able to maintain a great working relationship - just as you do with banking relationships, Human Resources, and Operations Directors. You deftly handle the accounting needs of a growing business, and you appreciate working autonomously with minimal guidance. You can laugh at both yourself and any day-to-day craziness with "can do" attitude. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
